The Danish Network of Local Youth Councils (NAU) is the national organization representing local youth councils and youth houses across Denmark. With over 45 member councils, we work to strengthen youth participation, empower young people, and ensure their voices are heard in local and regional decision-making processes.
Our Mission
NAU’s mission is to support and develop the youth council movement in Denmark. We believe in the power of young people to shape their communities and influence political decisions. Through training, advocacy, and collaboration, we equip youth councils with the tools and knowledge needed to create real impact.
